- photograph taken at The Common/Corporation Street between September 1939 and June 1940 when they were forced to relocate to Foord Street.
fire station was housed in railway arch. Streetview shows large section of arches have been replaced with new brickwork - possibly due to bombing during WW2 as above reference says they were 'forced to move to Foord Street'
